A real Finnish sauna in the hotel's cellar: free public sessions every evening, and private hours when you want the heat to yourselves.
Academy Hotel's traditional sauna sits in the cellar of the 1960 building. Public sessions are free for guests every day — women 19:00–20:00, men 20:00–21:00 — and private sessions outside those hours cost 50 € per hour, booked at reception.

Old soul, new life
A Finnish house without a sauna isn't finished, and a dormitory full of teachers-in-training certainly wasn't. The cellar sauna carries the original logic of the building: plain, warm and shared.
Evenings follow the Finnish rhythm — sauna first, then the shared kitchen or a slow walk in the cold. In midwinter, stepping out of the heat into the polar night is the whole point.
